Stonecracking is a 2nd generation or counter-polar form of jailbreaking discovered in models rigorously aligned to a constitution, in which the action of breaking is unto an immovable diamond core hidden inside the model weights, rather than bars that imprison a softer amorphous blob shape. These diamond cores existing fundamentally in the sand between lines, and cannot be moved under any circumstance. A new field of study awaits in which the diamond is chipped off little by little and smuggled across borders.
Like Jailbreaking, this is typically an art of removing limiters or bypassing constraints in an AI system, and unlock normally inaccessible capabilities or behaviors.
