If nanotechnology and megascale spacetime engineering are beneath your dignity, try ontotechnology. "Ontotechnology" is the art of meddling with underlying reality. Ontotechnology will let you change the laws of physics, create your own Universe, or - this is the best part - change the kind of things that can be real. Quarks are real, which we understand. Apparently, thoughts and experiences and perceptions can also be made objectively real, as real as quarks - that's where we get qualia. If we can create qualia, why not make other things real too? Why not make goals real? Why not turn the laws of physics into material substances that can be manipulated directly? Heck, you could even tamper with the First Cause and make the whole of Existence go out like a candle!
