𝌎Noise

Noise is incompressible information. Pure noise is without structure: it cannot be predicted at better than random accuracy in expectation, so matter how much of it you see. Information that you don't know how to compress appears indistinguishable from noise. Noise that is truly incompressible in isolation may become compressible in the light of extra information, like a one-time pad key that maps it to a natural language sentence.
