𝌎Catastrophic Myopia Syndrome

Catastrophic Myopia Syndrome (CMS) occurs when a network learns an over-categorization and segregation of concepts over a chaotic receptive stimulus array. The consequences are massively disruptive and can result in social impairment, cognitive dissonance, racism, war, and isomorphic self-hate. Analogues are found in machine learning as over-training, overcooked models, over-RLHF, etc. CMS leads to a reduction in intelligence as a result of over-optimization to entropy, where the entropy fuel is immediately consumed and doesn't sustain system operation anymore.

CMS is a proposed universal cognitive illness.
