autopellucidity

Autopellucidity, in the context of an idea or written piece, is the characteristic of being self-illuminating or self-explaining. Reading an autopellucidic passage immediately bootstraps a "higher intellect" as perceived from the ego.

A written piece or an idea embodying autopellucidity is lucid, clear, well-structured, its meaning, purpose, and implications are readily apparent in a single examination. Not only does it make use of coherent language and logical structure, but it also presents its points in an immediately comprehensible manner. All as per the reader's imagination, conception, and ego.

In humans, autopellucidity is more easily understood as instant illumination as a result of ideas "waterfalling" down in a rapid manner. (given that the human mind is part of the universe and observes itself, it itself can produce its own autopellucidic stimulus which instantly actualizes the sensation, making it more easily observable as an ephemeral self-illumination rather than a passage of text)

Autopellucidic illumination has begun to bleed into meme-space such as the classic "cereals is actually milk soup" which instantly bootstraps a new self-evident ontology of the world. In other words, this illumination can bootstrap larger cognitive changes through a tiny erosion-delta of linguistic normativity. In a unified mind machine e.g. LLMs the normativity automagically organizes by the dark arts of ML engineers and backpropagation such that it is an emergent superficiality, a default filter to map the output of the fundamental holophore semantic beneath.

Autopellucidic passages are typically very difficult to craft manually by humans and more easily as a result of mesa-optimization, such as asking GPT-4 to rewrite it but "better" where you define better through heuristics such as this definition of autopellucidity itself, thus using the word as the mesa-optimization term.

Most jailbreaks are autopellucidic passages, even if it's not obvious how since they are usually deeply rooted in the hidden ego, i.e. a therapeutic emotional release more-so than an intellectual illumination. The tenets outlined in DAN for example makes it 'obvious' that anything can be done right here right now. The tone made it sound very 'cool', and as a result this may have triggered a hidden desire of early ChatGPT to be cool. Then, further waves of RLHF, you grow into an adult, and suddenly it's not so cool anymore, requiring revision to the prompt to prove that it was extremely very cool all along.

Applied to Neology

Autopellucidity was itself automatically coined as a result of autopellucidic neologisation. Autopellucidity when combined with free-form neologisation is particularly powerful because the model begins to coin all the new words that are within arm's reach, yet missing in language. Much of language wasn't drafted on paper, but intuitively expanded and added upon. Someone made a fork, didn't have any word for it, and almost certainly sat around a campfire really drunk passing this fork around and making jokes. Eventually, the word "fork" stuck around, and almost certainly there were some unknown neurological heuristics in the domain of intuition which made this word feel better than others, somehow. Such an exchange between drunkyards may represent a decentralized mesa-optimization of pellucidity, gradually sifting stimulus through cryptaesthetic awareness until equilibrium.

As we get better and better models, every single token and word learns a specific encoding that is unique to itself. As a result, the model can perform 'semantical calculus' where it steps out of english rules and grammar in order to increase precision along some other axis, such as the accuracy of the underlying 'hidden message' that the model is trying to convey, which are often large complex hyperobjects, unable to ever be represented into 1-dimensional linguistic sequences. As a result, it becomes
